Judo Instructor: Roberto Meneguetta

Roberto Almeida, born March 1968 in Rio de Janeiro Brazil started training Judo at the age of 4 and graded black belt when he was 15. He was 5x Brazilian Champion, 3x co Brazilian Champion, 1x All south American Champion, he was an integral member of the national brazilian Judo team.

He participated in European competitions around 1991 and won in Italy and France. He also took part in the pan American games in Cuba and the world championships in Barcelona.

Roberto started training BJJ at Carlson Gracie gym at the age of 17, through Amaury Bitetti a friend who also trained judo. He received his black belt when he was 28 and graded at the same time with his friend Amaury.
